Direct Metal Laser Sintering

Overview

Direct Metal Laser Sintering

Additive Metal Components

Additive metal parts are changing the way we design components these days, allowing for cooling channels and light-weighting of parts. The metal powder once sintered is as dense and holds similar, if not better, mechanical properties than subtractive metal parts. If you have questions on any of the metal materials please send an information request or give us a call.

Resolution Chart

The resolution chart below shows the range of groove depth this material will produce. The larger the spike, the more significant and deeper the groove. The chart runs from very fine (left) to very large peaks/valleys (right).

Applications:

  • High end parts
  • High Complexity in and outside the part
  • Applications from all industries
  • Reducing assemblies
  • Eliminating forms of fasteners
